System innovations ACT Test that is writing Returns 2–12 Scale

The ACT announced that it will no longer grade the ACT Writing Test on a scale of 1–36 today. Starting in September of 2016, the ACT will go back to the old scale that is writing of.

Why the unexpected modification?

The ACT no further thinks that a 1–36 rating may be the way that is best to report pupil composing performance. Even though the 1–36 scale ended up being made to better align the ACT composing rating along with the rest associated with the ACT rating report, the ACT now understands that this new scale developed a “perceptual issue” for students, counselors, and universities.
